Yesterday I had a very important research paper to write, but like a true procrastinator, I decided that I just MUST have something more important to do first. And indeed I did. Last month I drew a design for Mike's band, Hammerhead, but never colored it. I knew it wouldn't turn out good so I just didn't want to bother. So I finally painted it, and I was shocked. For once, I actually like something I did. But I was still certain that Mike wouldn't like it. Well... his immediate response to seeing it was a marriage proposal. When I told him that I wasn't expecting him to like it, he insisted on showing me proof, which, I have to say, kind of made my day.
[link] Mike is determined to get this design on a t-shirt, and I'm super stoked about it.
Oh, and also, I finished another shirt design (Three Dee) shortly after that one. This one was for my friend Rob, and it will be the first shirt for his band, January's Ending. I'm really stoked about this, too.
Now I'm working on a few pictures for bands. One is for Nozebleed
[link] and the other is for The Limousines
[link] My goal is to finish both of these pictures before April 4th, so I can give them to Giovanni (the member of both bands, who asked me to do these for him) at the Bamboozle Left festival. Wish me luck!
